The Adult Volunteers Awards are presented to volunteers for their service to the Girl Scouts of the Florida Panhandle. To nominate a deserving volunteer, complete the official Recognition Form and submit with supporting materials as outlined in the criteria. Deadline for submission is Monday, January 8, 2018.
Awards will be presented at the 2018 Annual Meeting, Saturday, February 3, 2018
The Girl Scout Appreciation Pin is awarded to active, registered Girl Scout adult volunteers who have provided outstanding service in delivering the Girl Scout Leadership Experience. This service, which has had a measurable impact on one geographic area, helps the council reach and surpass its mission-delivery goals for that area.
The Honor Pin recognizes an adult volunteer who has delivered outstanding service to two or more Service Units or to a Region.
The Girl Scout Thanks Badge is awarded to active, registered Girl Scout adult volunteers, who have provided outstanding service that has had an exceptional measurable impact on meeting the goals and priorities of the total council or entire Girl Scout Movement. Service provided is so significantly beyond expectations that no other award is appropriate.
Thanks Badge 2
The Girl Scout Thanks Badge II is awarded to active, registered Girl Scout adult volunteers who have received the Thanks Badge. The individual, since receiving the Thanks Badge, has provided distinguished service benefiting the total council or entire Girl Scout movement by: Continuing to perform at the same high level for an extended period of time, or
Increasing her/his sphere of influence, or sing her/his skill and talents to move into another field of endeavor.
The service is outstanding and is so significantly beyond expectations that no other award is appropriate.
Volunteer Years of Service Pin
The Girl Scout Volunteer Years of Service Pin recognizes adult members for the years of active volunteer service at five-year intervals. Pins from 5 years or longer will be purchased by the Girl Scouts of the Florida Panhandle and awarded at the Annual Meeting.
